Declaration of Intent to Evict to Comply With a Government Agency's Order

The landlord seeks in good faith to recover possession of the rental unit in order to comply with a governmental agency's order to vacate, order to comply, order to abate, or any other order that necessitates the vacating of the build-ing housing the rental unit as a result of a violation of the LAMC or any other provision of law. All tenant not-at-fault evictions require payment of relocation assistance and the filing of a Landlord Declaration of Intent to Evict form with HCIDLA prior to evicting the tenant. Failure to file the Landlord Declaration with the HCIDLA makes the eviction a violation of the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO).
