How Will Federal Funds Help YOUR Community?

A Hall full of attendees with text overlay " Public Hearing for Consolidated Plan"
Each year, the City of Los Angeles develops a plan for implementing projects and programs for federal grants that improve communities, primarily for residents with lower incomes.  The plan includes projects such as domestic violence shelters; services for the homeless; construction of affordable housing; small business assistance; construction and rehabilitation of public facilities, such as parks, community centers, and installation of street lights; and housing and services for people living with AIDS/HIV.  The Mayor has released the proposed plan budget for the next program year beginning April 1, 2018.  Please let us know your comments on the proposed plan budget by joining us at the public hearings.

The February 21 meeting will be linked with a special Affordable Housing Commission meeting, which is being held at a special time to allow for greater public participation.
