Required Rental Property Management Policies and Forms

All  Housing Developments that received City or CRA/LA financing or City approved mortgage bonds must adopt the City’s uniform property management policies and procedures to ensure that individuals with disabilities have an equal opportunity to rent, live in, and enjoy the housing and facilities.  These policies include:
 
a.  Affirmative marketing to obtain tenants who have disabilities;
b.  Uniform application and tenant selection policies to prevent discrimination;
c.  Waiting  lists so that people with disabilities will have priority for accessible units;
d.  Procedures for assistance  animals;
e.  Policies and procedures regarding reasonable accommodations and modifications;
f.  Effective communications methods; and
g.  Grievance procedures.
