Laura Guglielmo is responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality delivery of decent, affordable housing and community services to Los Angeles residents. Ms. Guglielmo has more than 20 years of public service, including five years as Assistant General Manager of the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension System and 10 years with Office of the City Administrative Officer. Ms. Guglielmo has been instrumental in the development and implementation of sound financial policies for the City of Los Angeles. She also facilitated the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) successful implementation of policy, practice and cultural changes mandated for compliance with the Federal Consent Decree arising from a pattern and practice of civil rights violations made public after the LAPD’s Rampart Division incident. As a Los Angeles native, Ms. Guglielmo graduated from the University of Southern California, and completed the California Leadership Institute and Leadership Los Angeles programs.
