Changes to Plans

Picture of a computer keyboard with a blue key entitled Time for ChangeOnce the City Council and Mayor have approved our plans for spending CDBG, HOME, HOPWA and ESG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), if we make changes to either the 5-year Strategic or Annual Action plans, we need to amend the plans.  Some of the changes are considered major and are called Substantial Amendments The Citizen Participation Plan indicates what changes are considered Substantial Amendments.

When we have a Substantial Amendment, we want to get input from the community on the proposed changes.  We summarize the changes in a notice and provide 30 days for the community to review and provide comments to the us about the proposed changes. Comments received about the Substantial Amendments are shared with the Mayor and City Council.

We can view past Substantial Amendment notices in our library. If you would like to get an email notice each time we post a Substantial Amendment for public review and comment, please Subscribe to Consolidated Plan - Substantial Amendments.

Comments received about the Substantial Amendments are shared with the City Council and Mayor.
