The Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) program is a fairly new and highly competitive State funded program geared toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions by funding the development and rehabilitation of affordable housing projects in conjunction with transportation improvements.  Last year, a total of six City of Los Angeles projects were awarded $64.6 million in AHSC funds, making Los Angeles the most successful jurisdiction in the State.  In order to begin preparing for the upcoming release of the AHSC Round 3 2017 guidelines, the Los Angeles Housing + Community Investment Department (HCIDLA) asks that interested parties register their projects located in the City of Los Angeles at this link.
